I took advantage of the cool, clear, sunny Sunday morning to venture, with camera in hand, to the (electronic) wilds of Akihabara, Tokyo's center of all things "geeky". As the following edited set of images demonstrates, the visual overload is something to behold!

During the early afternoon, following a hardy one dish tempura-over-rice lunch, I strolled around the Asakusa area, seeking out the perfect grandkid souveniers, always an easy task in Japan.
That left enough time for a nice afternoon rest and a leisurely evening, a bit of which was spent admiring the view as the sun set, not only on the day and over the city, but on this journey through Japan with grandson Colin and son-in-Law Ted, a most enjoyable and satisfying experience, every step of the way.
